Surely the point of the A000096 TFT screen was that it did not fit regular Arduino shield headers.
It is compatible with 5V GPIO but the SD Card buffer prevents other SPI devices.
There are plenty of other ST7735S 128x160 displays that do not fit the headers.
They are mostly 3.3V GPIO. But it is pretty easy to add series resistors or level shifter chips.
