Is there a risk for my setup to break?

Hello,
I have a led strip connected to my computer trough a arduino uno and usb cable to get a amibilight effect.

On the same led strip i also have a rgb controller with a remote so that I can use it eater with that or the arduino. Just soldered them both to the ledstrips red, green, blue and 12v cables.

Everything works great but is there a chance for the led strip or anything else to break if I have the arduino uno on and then by mistake put the rgb controller on too?

They both have their own power supplies. Arduino gets its power from usb and the rgb controller has a 12v power supply connected to itself.

It all depends on:
what is the leds strip? controller? how you wired up arduino?
have links to products?

Hi Magician!

This is the controller:

This is the ledstrip:

This is how the arduino uno is connected to the led strip:

Both devices are connected to the led strip with 12v DC + so that I can use them separately.

I think, it should be o'k, as long one control module operates at a time. There would be interference otherwise for visual performance, but no threat from electrical connection, two modules would just share current in between .
You can't use ULN2003 (500 mA) for 2A LEDs, look for beefy devices, MOSFET's or BJT
