Is there a way to use a H-Bridge?

When I got the Arduino starter kit, the only way the project uses the H-bridge is when using a DC motor. So is there another way to use it?

Do you mean does a H-Bridge have any other uses?

Well it has. It can be used any time you need to reverse the polarity of what you are driving.

For example you can:-

  1. use it to drive the excitation coil on a RFID reader.
  2. use it as a driver for FETs
  3. use it to drive a stepping motor

I am sure others can come up with more examples.
