Is there a way to use liquidChrystal's blink() function without delay?

As the title says, can I use liquid crystal's blink() function without using delay? Or do i have to make timers myself and do it that way?

All of the examples i found use delay() after blink()....

Can you show us an example?

The blink() routine in the LiquidCrystal library just sets the bits in the LCD's control register to cause the cursor to blink. You don't have to interact with it at all after that unless you want to call noBlink() to turn it off. The LCD handles all the issues related to the cursor.
