I am planning to make a water level sensor using a sensor which measures the pressure reading at the depth of tank and give corresponding analog outputs. The pressure sensor would be dipped inside the tank.
I want to measure water level for a tank of depth 6 feet. If there is any appropriate sensor according to my needs then kindly tell me.

Yes, and Google will find them.
But I couldn't find on Google.
Can you tell something by your experience ?

That probably tells you something.
Having said that, there are approximately a billion washing machines on the planet, each with at least one water level device, but I guess they still do it on air pressure, not water. They are cheap reliable, and extraordinarily accurate. I imagine they re all digital but, particularly if you are working on some industrial process involving filling and draining, you may find a solution there. They may not be so accurate on longer cycles as some of the air might dissolve in the water, but at least the sensor is dry, and not at the bottom of the tank.
Yes Nick you said that right. I saw on YouTube how washing machines use air pressure sensor to measure water levels. So I should also now look after a compatible air pressure sensor for my project.
A little research revealed that MPX5050DP can be useful for me . Will this sensor work for measuring depths of 6feet ? Or do you have a good option in your mind ?
Thanks
It is up to 50kPa, about 5m of water, so yes. If not, then something like it with a smaller pressure range, say 20 kpa.
I'm not familiar with anything so slick, but it is just the sort of thing I would expect in a modern washing machine with digital control rather than turning a knob.
