Hello friends
First of all, I would like to introduce myself, I am a physician, working in medicine for 25 years, and I am not math person, so please, excuse my ignorance and be gentle on me in explaining.
I am in RC hobby, and trying to flash an ESC by BLHELI, I flashed 3 ESCs with the HobbyKing flashing tool and USBASP with no problem, the fourth identical did not work, and it gave the following error in all AVR programming GUIs and command line:
C:\BLHeliSuite13202\Interfaces\AVRDude>avrdude -p at
mega8 -c usbasp -P usb -v -U flash:r:/dev/null:i

this check.
avrdude done. Thank you.
then I tried soldering directly to the pads (after checking By DMM, that they are connected to the pins according to the ATMEGA pinout diagram and 6pin connector to USABASP), I read a lot in the forums and here to try shorting JP3 in the USBASP, and I did, to no avail., the rest of the fuses thing that I understood partially don't know how to do it.
I can go ahead and buy another ESC, but it is a challenge to me and I love challenges and learning a little bit in electronics.
an somebody help....gently please
