Is this ESP32 pinout diagram wrong? (D1 Mini)

This appears to be a fairly wide-spread pinout diagram for the ESP32 D1 Mini board:

I always thought that any board exposing GPIO16 and GPIO17 would automatically expose the UART2 interface on those pins as well, but if the diagram is correct, that would not be the case. So what is going on here? Is that information just missing or does the ESP32 D1 Mini actually not support UART2 (RXD2, TXD2)?

This "ESP32-WROOM-32" module different from the "ESP-WROOM-32" module found on the ESP32 D1 Mini?
