issue in finding real power.

hello.
I want to find real power, apparent power and power factor for my project.I have successfully measured current and voltage .So I can find apparent power but I am struggling to find real power. We are not allowed to use emon.lib library. Can you help me with code

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html . Then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

Thanks.. Tom..

Real power is the component of current in phase with the voltage.
You could calculate the phase angle between the current and voltage by measuring the time difference between the voltage and current crossing the zero point .
Draw the sign waves on a piece of paper and do the maths for phase angle , then you can calculate real and imaginary power .

Remember knowledge is real power ....

Drink on it. Then do math.

Drink on it. Then do math.

so, maybe Solar power is Light Beer ?

Hi,
Have you tried google measuring real power arduino
