Hello,
I am just trying to write an Arduino Nano with IDE Linux app. It is connected with USB on my desktop Linux Ubuntu 22.04.
I set up the board as Arduino Nano, Processor as ATmega328P and Programmer as AVRIPS mkII.
The entry menu Port stays grey. So I can't write the program. The red led on the nano flashes.
What's wrong please ?

I apologize, I am not at all programmer, so I didn't know were to post exactely.
I'm not a Linux user but I seem to recall that it may be to do with user groups - something about being a member of the dialout group. If you search these forums for dialout, then it might lead you to the solution.
