Issues connecting to WiFi

I downloaded the WifiNina library, and was checking my setup by running the connectwithWPA function provided as an example in the library. When that didn't work, I checked the firmware version, and it was up to date. I then tried running ScanNetworks, and couldn't find my network (which I know is active as I have other devices connected to it). Next, I tried ScanNetworksAdvanced and couldn't find anything.

It is a WPA2 network if that makes any difference (On a college campus, but I've registered the device with IT, so that shouldn't be an issue). I haven't gotten any error message about the chip having an error, but tech support said that they couldn't even see a device with my MAC address trying to connect. I am completely baffled, has anyone had a similar issue/knows where I am screwing up?

Get the latest version of WifiNINA library from GitHub. While both (Github and Arduino) are marked 1.4, the Github version has reasonCode() which provides the deauth reason as to why you are not connecting. Reason codes are specific codes from 802.11 as to why auth is failing:

Use IEEE 802.11 codes to identify network issues

I used my reason code "8" to track down a wireless router issue.
