Hello, I have an Adaptive Micro Sign TD80x7-.3RG that I'm trying to display text to. This sign is RS485 based and I believe speaks J1708, but I have no idea what it's looking for. I tried to send it some Adaptive Micro Alpha Hex commands and that does not seem to do anything over an arduino attached to a TTL to RS485 converter. Any suggestions or direction would be helpful on how to attack this.
Have you considered asking the manufacturer?

I have started that conversation. But for this particular sign using J1708, they do not have a lot of information.
