Java error 193

Previous to this IDE version everything worked well on my Windows 10 Pro.
Following is extract from copied verbose error:

Arduino: 1.8.12 (Windows Store 1.8.33.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino Nano, ATmega328P"
java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "C:\Users\MyPC\ArduinoFiles\ArduinoData\packages\arduino\tools\avrdude\6.3.0-arduino17/bin/avrdude": CreateProcess error=193, %1 is not a valid Win32 application

Under this version, JAVA fails to execute AVRDUDE. Obviously, Java is looking for a 32bit application and this is a 64bit system.

I can successfully execute AVRDUDE from the Command window and upload to the Nano. Although that is a good work-around it is a time consuming hassle when testing sketches.

Does anyone know the fix?
