Java on Mac OS

arduino('/dev/cu.usbmodem145101', 'MKR1000', 'Libraries', 'Arduino/MKRMotorCarrier'); Arduino IDE at folder 'Arduino.app/Contents/Java' is corrupt. Open Add‑On Explorer to reinstall MATLAB Support Package for Arduino Hardware.

I keep getting the above when attempting to load. I'm not able to change to 32bit. Have also reinstalled.

I'm using the MKR1000 board and Arduino 2 app

Help

‘Arduino.app/Contents/Java’ is corrupt.

On the mac, this is the main directory that holds all sorts of arduino stuff (the compiler and core libraries), not just Java (I don’t know why, though.)

I’m using the MKR1000 board and Arduino 2 app

What is “Arduino 2”? The latest IDE version is 1.8.9…

Sorry i'm using IDE 1.8.9,

how do i change to 32 bit ?

What is making you think you need to change to 32 bit?

Apparently the latest update for Mac, works in 64 bit and one of the fixes was to change to 32 bit to allow it to work.

Please post a link to where you found that information.

I did a search, not sure where i saw it, but maybe i dont have too. I would just like to solve the problem.
