Jennic JN5148 wireless microcontroller

Hi, had anybody made experiences with the JN5148 wireless microcontroller (http://www.jennic.com/products/modules/) from Jennic (http://www.jennic.com/index.php ) ? Regards AgeBee

No.

What are you looking to do with it? Just use it as an RF device to talk with another card using its UART interface or the SPI interface?

Or something more?

I need another RF and would like to test another brand. Not that I am dissatisfied with my current but just to check if two different brands work smoothly together as they should.

Can't help you there, no idea if two different brands will play nice. Probably not if the two ends are not guaranteed to be using the same protocal, message formats etc.

More likely to work well if the two parts are just the dumTx/Rx kind of devices and the host is doing the protocal via a VirtualWire library kind of setup.

ok, thanks CrossRoads, I'll give it a try.
