Hello, we are building a mini sumo project with arduino nano but despite the correctness of wiring, we can't get a JS40F movement sensor working. It used to work neatly but now outputs the same value although we move the vehicle. No change in code nor the wiring. We used a different JS40F but situation is the same, it worked for a while then stopped. What can be the cause?

you are possibly using the component outside specs and after a while you fry it.... just a guess
Might be a faulty batch of components or bad clones
Might be a bug in your wiring or code
...
