JST connector power

Dear all,

Can I use four battery (1.2V each rechargeable) to the JST connector on GEMMA? Will the voltage too high for GEMMA?

What is GEMMA? Are the batteries in parallel (so 1.2V) or in series (so 4.8V)?

Input voltage specified 4~16v. As always with a linear regulator, you want input voltage on the low end of the range.

4xAA cells is perfect (assuming they're in series)
