The two devices are a LiPo charger and a boost regulator.
What I would do is:
On the charger, put a JST connector.
On the boost regulator, solder a JST jumper to Ground (-/black) and Charge In (+/Red).
Plug that JST jumper into the charger.
Plug the LiPo battery JST connector into the JST connector on the boost regulator.
Thats a pretty good suggestions but I was hoping to not have an extra cable attached to the boost regulator. It is for a lillypad arduino and the less wires I need permanently attached the better it would be for the person wearing the device. Plus I kinda want to know if it is doable.
I think the problem is that the JST connector on the boost regulator is where you connect the battery, not where you connect a charger. To minimize wires you could just give up on charging the battery while it is connected to the boost regulator. Unplug the battery from the boost regulator and plug it into the charger when you want to charge it.
