Why are you showing this picture here? Nobody can see where these wires go to. In one section, there appears a red, green and black wire. But the part you're holding in your hand has only green and black on one side of your hand, and the other side has red, green and black. So what's the deal with that?It's possible that your arduino ground wire got shorted to USB 5V somehow. Possible.
I was showing it because I was asked to show pictures of the connections. An explanation of where wires go and a diagram was posted as well.
The red wire there is a red herring, it's from the LED strip connectors that come with wires already in them, but I don't use the red wire, it's sealed off with electrical tape which it looks like it got hidden by my hand.
As for the power supply, how do you propose to seal it up, or something?
