Just a newbie question

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find it in the forums or the playground. My brother and I are starting in this whole Arduino world: he's learning to solder and I'm learning to code.
We got D Cuartielles' Motor Shield to drive a couple of Pololu DC motors, but my brother's almost finished soldering the shield and I'm still trying to figure out how to code it... Any help?

Thanks a lot for the wonderful community Arduino has.

nkcelectronics has a nice write-up on how to build the board and that includes an example sketch to get you started: http://mcukits.com/?p=15

Thanks a lot! I see my Google skills are not as good as I thought!

Not the first time the software guy holds up the hardware guy, nor the last. ;D

Have fun with your Arduino, you and your brother will learn a lot. Just don't let fustration get the better of you. All will work out in time, it's a great hobby.

Lefty

Lol lefty...

The thing is I'm the one that tells my brother: "No, you can't just wire the LEDs any way you want!!" ;D

We've only been into this for a month or so and we've already learnt a lot!
