KeyPad touch for arduino

Hi,

I need a keypad for my Arduino Mega..

I saw: http://www.exp-tech.de/Zubehoer/Taste-Schalter/Keypad---12-Button-COM-08653.html
but it is very ugly.

Then I found a capacitive keypad

This works behind a glass?

If the glass is thin enough, then yes it should. Just make sure it doesn't have any uv coatings or anything on it. Make sure it is clear glass, and this. Like 2mm I would think.

Ps, glass works better than plastics for some reason. Don't know why, never looked into it.

and with plexiglass ? You have one ?

I consider plexi as a plastic. Go with glass.

And yes, I have tried this in the past.
