A kinetic model made with recycled metal and a bipolar stepper motor (ripped out of an old scanner). The bipolar motor is controlled with a L293D dual H-bridge and programmed with an arduino. It is in the style of something that the artist len lye would make.

Wooh, represent the Kiwi Arduino Massive. :D
P.S. Hey, watching those late night Art programmes on TV paid off, I actually recognise the name of a New Zealand artist. :-)
If you are interested in Len Lye and kinetic sculptures watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-EttQDeVBc Len Lye was limited with the technology of his day but using Arduino, we can all make some noisy metal sculptures. :D
