Hello so I'm looking to buy a Arduino kit with Robotic arms with motors, encoders, etc. Preferably 6-7 DOF. I want the kit to be completely programmable so I can do all the programming from scratch and learn. Does anyone have any recommendation for kits? I found some online but I just wanted to hear any recommendations as well

You need to be specific about what your arm is to do - do you want fingers ? Grabbers , what degree of movement .
Most are controlled servos , solenoids or electro magnets . Some bigger by pneumatics .
What sort of price? There are shed loads out there or you could make your own ( wood , metal, mecarno etc )
I want it to be able to pick up objects, I also prefer more DOF. Budget I'd say $200 at most. I just want to hear some reviews on kits before buying a bad one.
May be some one else will come along - I’ve never bought anything like that.
