Hi everyone,

I have a little project where I need to implement the TP-UART IC from SIEMENS.

On table 6.1.3 we can read: "additional components may be required because of EMC"

Do you have any good advice on how to protect this circuit and make it reliable?

The schematic appears to have adequate surge protection across the rs485 lines. I would look more towards your power supply design for filtering out harmonics from switching circuits.
