I have been using this arduino uno r3(not the original) for a while and earlier the L led was bright but now it doesnt even light up well remains very dim. Is there something i need to worry about . programs seem to run fine though

Make sure the blink sketch is loaded onto the Arduino.
even when blink code is used the Led is very dim
I dont mean that LED is totally turned off, it is blinking and it does evrything perfectly. Its just that it has become very dim now.
Actually i have been doing some projects recently that involved high currents(about 1A)
is there any chance that i might have broke it ?? or is it fine and just a normal issue
What voltage?
not high voltage actually just high current(1A) voltage was normal just 5V
Drawing 1A from a pin is more than enough to complete burn it out, just be amazed it is still working.
