L led blinking problem

Hi, i make basic soil moisture senzor project with five led diodes (pins 8-12) for signalization how wet the dirt is. It really basic.

Everything worked how it should, but after while, the L led on arduino starts blinking and led that is showing the wet level stars blinking too (Pins 8-12). After reset its same problem. Im using arduino uno and 9V battery.

Does anyone know what is the problem here?

Details matter

  1. Maybe your power supply? A 9V PP3 battery (if that is your battery) is not a decent power supply. Does it work properly for a long time when powered via USB or a decent power supply?
  2. Maybe the code that you did not show? Don't forget to use code tags (as described in How to get the best out of this forum) when posting your code.
  3. Maybe the wiring that you did not show?
  4. Maybe the board that you forget to mention?

That's pretty vague. Minutes, hours, days, weeks? If the latter, have your probes corroded away, or other deleterious effects set in?

Otherwise, yeah, post #2.
