L293D with LM7805

Hey everyone I just wanna check my connections please help me with this i was doing a project there I was try l293d motor driver ckt in that I used 1 uF capacitor one terminal is connected to vcc1 and other is gnd and lm7805 connect its input with vcc2 and output with vcc1 of l293d and I am using lm7805 as voltage regulator for 5v ouput voltage

Will this ckt work

Please post a schematic.

So far what you've described might work, but the problem is that your description still leaves plenty of opportunities for misunderstanding/miscommunication. A schematic solves this.

Also specify whether you're using a bare L293D chip or a module that uses this chip; post a photo if you can.

Also please specify what the L293D will drive; what kind of motor etc.; post/link to a datasheet please.

I USED L293D for motors only but I just want to confirm that if I used lm7805 and its input pin connected to Vcc2 and the output pin connected to Vcc1 then when I give more than 5v to the motors imput would the lm7805 in the circuit reduced it and make it 5v also I connected my 1uf capacitor to vcc1 where I give 5v to initiate the logic for IC

The questions in #2 remain the same and remain so far unanswered. You're in control of your own progress.

So no mention of flyback diodes across the motors, so no it will not work.

Also your lack of cooperation is not encouraging us to help you like we could do with a schematic.

Sorry for trouble once I finished with schematic I'll share it with you
