l298 output too high

Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble with my h bridge which is a L298.
When i put 2,4V on enB and 5v on enA the outputs are the same so i guess it's not switching properly...
I connected it like this:

In1 5v
In2 gnd
enA 5v
In3 5v
In4 gnd
enB 2,4v
out1 motorA
out2 motorA
out3 motorB
out4 motorB

anyone ideas?

Why do you do this? It is a logic level input.

i got it working. didn't have anything to do with he h bridge. still thanks for your reply though!
