L298N Motor shield

Hi Everybody,

I bought a time ago an Arduino Motor shield. It comes with the L298N. But i have no idea how to connect and program this IC with my 2WD motor car.

This is the only thing i could find on Google about the right version of my L298N. There are a lot of diffrent jumpers and things. But i can't find some documentation about what i exactly need.

I hope someone knows a lot more about this then me.

Here's a link to a tutorial I did about these board.

Just make sure you don't follow the advice of L298N video made by the kid who calls himself The Raspberry Pi Guy. There have been a lot of burned out Raspberry Pi boards caused by people following the directions of his video (and he knows this).

I used a Propeller QuickStart board in my tutorial but the principles apply to any microcontroller.
