Hello all, I'm switching the controls of an antiquated Label applicator with obsolete parts over to Arduino. My only question would be how would I interface the output signal of the label photo eye to the Arduino input pin? I attached the wiring diagram of the photo eye. I just want to receive an input to the Arduino when the output transistor of the photo eye turns on. The part that confuses me is how do I use the Arduino input pin as a "load" when there is only 1 path to the input?
