I what to build a large LED scoreboard display From 7 segment units.
The unit will be 12" x 9" in size and there will be 3 units. 1 will need to be 3 x 7 segment reading 0 to 999. 2 x 7 segment reading 0 to 99 and a single 7 segment 0 to 9. Each segment will have 20 LEDs so in total there will be 140 LEDs per unit. My problem is building a controller to operate these 7 segments. Has anyone built a similar controller and pass the info on to me? If these is beyond me can some one build it?
The controller only needs to have a + - and a reset buttons.
