I am looking to build a large RGB LED matrix composed of several 16x16 panels. Each panel will have an onboard controller and will multiplex with 3 TLC5940s. I have the basic hardware layout, but what would be the best way to transfer all the data between the main controller and the panels? I was thinking of a wired protocol but now I'm considering switching to Artnet so computer control is easier. Any ideas?
