I wanna make a thing that would count fast moving bb's. I tried an IR sensor, but it doesnt work when the bb's are moving fast. So I thought that I could use laser and laser detector, something like this setup.
Do you think it will work, even when the bb's are moving about 120 m/s?
I don't really see what a visible laser brings to the party - too much red light in the environment.
I would have thought an IR source and phototransistor would be a better option.
