Laser distance sensor GY-53

Hello to everyone :slight_smile: ,

I am atemping to use the GY-53 sensor but I am not sure if I can use it using the VL53L0X library since the GY-53 has 12 pines instead of 6 as the Adafruit sensor has (in my location I was not able to buy the Adafruit sensor).

Has someone used the GY-53 sensor? I would appreciate if you can confirm that the library works with the GY5-3 sensor and also if it's required a different circuit to use the I2C protocol comunication.

Manual says indeed you should connect PS to GND, after which you can read the chip directly over I2C, and the regular VL53L0X libraries should work right away.
