I've seen several experiments with these kind of lasers, but are they really safe?
They are available everywhere (ebay, dx, Bg, and so on), but none refer what power they are.
So my question is, are these really safe for the eyes?
And if so, what kind of receiver is recommended?
No, lasers are not safe for eyes.
The heat generated in the eye will be reduced by the eye fluid, but even low power lasers are not safe.

That's what I've imagined.
Coming from China, I really did believe that those things where safe.
Lasers are never safe, even a safe (low power) laser can fail in such a way it becomes unsafe.
