Hi. Has anyone tested this laser range sensor? Cant find any documentation it 
Documentation is in the listing you link to. Agreed, it's pretty basic, but it does give you all the info you need to connect to and communicate with the sensor.
One of the user comments would lead one to believe the device is controlled using the serial port. They wrote sending a letter "G" caused the last measurement to be resent.
