Laser TOF10120, how much to measure?

I have a laser that I want to use to measure the height of the snow (at night). How many measurements ideally to make to be as accurate as possible.

I am currently doing about 30 measurements and if there was no snow, it measured 400 mm. If they attacked 3.5 cm, it measured nonsense, 385 mm, only a difference of 15 mm, while it should ideally be 35 mm (3.5 cm).

Does anyone have experience with this laser for measuring the height of snow?

I have a delay (30) between each measurement.

Can you please post link to the Laser specs/data?

Thanks.. Tom... :+1: :coffee: :australia:

Then you only want to measure when there is no snow or rain or fog in the air.
