here it comes the problem...i have to create a working GUI for an arduino program that reads various i2c devices, i must use lazarus , that is a free pascal program and i never wrote in pascal before.

But I must have a look at Lazurus Pascal - it may be interesting. Especially if a program developed on a Linux PC will run unchanged on Windows or Mac.

That did not take very long. Lazarus Pascal programs need to be cross-compiled if you want to develop on Linux and deploy on Windows.
You don't need to do that with Python or any JVM based language.
