Hi,
New to this forum though have spent a lot of time looking through previous posts for other help...
I'm currently working on a project using a 128x64 LCD display (the exact one is here - 12864 128 x 64 Graphic Symbol Font LCD Display Module Blue Backlight Geekcreit f Sale - Banggood USA-arrival notice-arrival notice)
The LCD has been soldered and all individual pins have been tested to check it isn't an issue with connectors.
I've been following various tutorials to try and get it working and connect properly and came across this one to follow : https://www.instructables.com/id/Testing-a-Graphic-LCD-Module/
My current set-up is based on Step 4 and 5.
When the code is compiled, the backlight works and the screen appears blue however nothing appears on the screen except from a thin line in the middle of the screen if the potentiometer is fiddled. (See picture)
I've followed so many example codes yet none seem to work properly when I test them out and I'm running out of ideas of what could be the cause.
Ideas would be appreciated as have been stuck at this point for the last month 
I've also tried the Hello World from the U8glib library yet I can't get anything more than the line in the picture
