My lcd1602 does not fit in my solderless breadboard and I do not know why. These both came in the Super Starter Kit UNO R3 Project. please tell me if you know. and could you please give me tutorial(s) for lcd's. There are 16 pins on the lcd but I dont know if they dont fit or if im just weak. They are the same size as the pins above aref on the arduino uno r3
What do you mean, it doesn't fit? Are the pins the wrong spacing or what? Is it supposed to "fit"?
It would help if you posted photos

and an explanation of what you mean by it not fitting. At the moment all we can do is try to read your mind and I don't think anyone here has sufficiently good telepathy skills.
I think it may be a continuation of the square pin into a round hole breadboard subject, discussed on the other thread.
My advice is to not try to put it into the breadboard, but link it via some short Dupont cables. If you succeed in forcing it to fit, it may well make the breadboard unreliable for anything else you want to put in that range of holes.
