LCD Menu Library for ElecFreaks LCD Key Shield

Has anyone used this and can someone recommend a compatible menu library for this shield? I have tried the Phi Menu Library but could not get the pins assigned correctly.

The documentation for this is pretty slim so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this shield supported by LiquidCrystal() library from the Arduino IDE?
If yes, then m2ktlib might be a suitable menu library.
