I'm trying to develop a selection menu with and LCD and some buttons. As soon as the display is on, it shows, choose an option (buttons 1 to 4) and when a button is pressed it shows "determine portion" and so on. How this can be accomplished?

By coding it that way.
Work out what you want it to do, your one line description will not do for that.
If you run in to problems, post your code (in code tags of course), and you will get suggestions.

Over the years, I have seen several LCD menus in the forum. Try an advanced search, keep it simple, maybe only the two words LCD and MENU.
