hello,
i found a 1.6 lcd module but didnt find any documentation for it so i don't know how it works
Really? I find that hard to believe.
Using Google Images, in under 30 seconds I found a page that gave the controller, working voltage and pinout description.
A simple Google search for the controller identifier gave multiple libraries that supported it, and included threads talking about it on this very forum.
There's even a page on LCDWiki for that exact module that has the user manual, controller data sheet, example programs, you name it, it's there.
How hard did you look?
can you read what the U2 chip is? e.g. ILI9341, ST7735S, etc
the interface is SPI so once you know what the display driver is you can try to program it
although the VCC is probably 5V the interface logic level is probably 3.3V so test it use a microcontroller which uses 3.3V logic, e.g. ESP32, RP2040, etc
it's an SSD1283A
thank you in only 2 clicks i found it 1.6inch SPI Module SSD1283A SKU:MSP1601 - LCD wiki
i think i didn't search the right thing
i just found a librairy for this module i try it and tell you if it works
SSD1283A documentation indicates that the device uses 3.3V logic
if interfacing to a Mega which uses 5V logic use a level converter
i think it's something like this
but i only have these ones
or can i use an ESP 32 instead ?
I would use an ESP32 - saves the complexity of level converters
ok thank you i will solder an esp tomorrow
good night
this librairy works well
