I bought this lcd display off ebay, and it does not seem to be working. I initially wired it the opposite way, and the display lit up, but that was all. When I noticed my mistake, I immediately rewired it the correct way, but not it does not do anything, not even light up. When I tried the initial wiring, the backlight worked again, but with the actual wiring, it does not. I checked the diagram, and I have it right, but it doesn't light up or display text when I wire it correctly.
Is it just mislabeled? Did I just fry it somehow? I'll have pics up in a moment.

Never mind, it works! Found out how the backlight is supposed to be connected and fixed the contrast.
