Hello, I know there is forums similar to this but other than the one suggestion which I've yet to try I wanted to see if anyone else had any other advice I can try if the suggestion did not work.
As said by the title, when powering my Adafruit ILI9341 screen it only displays properly after resetting the Arduino Uno, I should note that the Uno is being powered externally and also powers two devices (uno and nano). When testing with another external battery and or USB Uno connector, the device performs fine. However, I only powered the Uno this time not the nano.
I saw post about how sometimes the display needs sometime to boot so I was going to test adding a delay (the suggestion I was talking about earlier), but I am little lost as why one power connector would function properly and the other wouldn't.
The battery powering the two devices, is DC adapter rated at 5v and 2000mA.
