I recently bought a lcd Colour display from amazon unfortunately i could not find one where the pins were designed for the arduino due so I had to resort to using wires instead of just plugging it in. I couldn't find any information on how to use a display like this so if anyone could help me with this situation I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
edit:
here is the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PNQFSKN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Do you think it might help to post a link to the display, your code, and a clear explanation about how you wired it?
For instructions, see "How to get the best out of the forum", linked at the head of every forum category.
I'm sorry for spending someone's time but I fixed the problem myself.
Thanks for editing #1 and providing the link.
That particular Shield plugs straight into the Due's header sockets just as Nature intended.
MCUFRIEND_kbv library would have worked straight out of the box on Due (as well as Uno, Mega2560, Leo, Zero, ...)
The advert says "Applicable for Arduino MEGA 2560 development board. "
It is unlikely to work with other libraries on Mega2560 or Due.
The advert says "Compatible with UTFT / UTFT_Buttons / Utouch Library. "
It is definitely not going to work with UTFT.
I am pleased that you "fixed it yourself". Please can you explain for the benefit of the Forum readers.
David.
Turns out that I just had to plug in the shield directly into the Due
I too have purchased the same screen from Amazon. And I can’t get it to do anything. Could you please post a script example that I could try, just to get the damn thing working.
Many many thanks in advance
Jeremy
