first, I'm very new to Arduino. I uploaded example for lcd but the display is blinking, WHY? Also, what do I add to the code to display line 2 ?
I'm using a 16x2 lcd.
you have provided too little information for us to work with,
what example did you upload?
did you tinker with the code or not?
is the example for blinking display? if so then it sounds like its working fine.
Also, there's a huge amount of displays you can connect to your Arduino, even 1602 types.
Tell about what display you are using, and how you connected it, they aren't all the same.
We are not interested in you showing how you planned to connect it so do not point to some tutorial telling us "I did it like that".
If you are able to do so, show a picture of your setup.
