LED Dim when switch turned off

So i was connecting the switch to one of the transmitter which originally held a push button switch because it was from a toy car remote control. When i switch the switch on, it turned on the LED on the receiver but when i switch it off, the led was dim but not completely turned off. Any solution to this?

While a picture is worth a thousand words, a schematic is worth even more. I have no idea what that collection of words means. I do know how to read a schematic.

Any solution to this?

Change your code.

It will work even if you don't set your desired pin as output, but there will always be some amount of current flowing through it, would be cool if you submit your code as well :slight_smile:
