LED lighted buttons, Timers and activating keyboard commands

Word.

I went back to your first post on this new thing.

  • based on a series of videos the contestant has to guess the order of 4 buttons.

  • If they get it right and a big bright LED tunnel will light up 'showing them the way'.

  • If they get it wrong a 'wrong answer' video plays.

  • Each time they push a button a certain video will play then reset.

This is grossly underspecified. If you have trouble coming up with a dozen questions about how this is to function, you are in the wrong business!

Start by telling a story, just in simple terms, about the user's experience with this. Involve your client if necessary.

In simple terms, but with details, answer all the questions the specs currently leave unanswered or ambiguous. Answer new questions that those answers rasie.

Write no code until every agrees on the story board.

I am reluctant to say, but this is a big bite, and with a "creative" client you are heading for a world of "no I meant"s or other "adjustments" that hacked code, especially starting with bad/poorly understood code, simply will not support.

Since there is a client, and there is money, I would ask you to consider going over to

jobs and paid consultancy category

and finding someone to do the work, or work closely in a collaborative fashion on this.

I'd offer to be that person, but you can't afford me.
