LED Strip

Hello, I would like to know how to connect LED Strip to the Arduino Duemilanove and how I can control it. LED strip looks like this: http://www.elmo.lt/553-1298-thickbox/5w-1m-led-strip-non-hermetic-cold-white-light-3528-60-m.jpg

Looks pretty..... but do you have any data on it? How much power does it need, how exactly is it controlled (analog, digital?). Are you just trying to turn it all on or off, or are you trying to do something more complex?

Your strip looks similar or identical to the ones sold on Adafruit. I can't tell from the picture whether yours is analog (you can set the entire strip to whatever color you want, but not individual LEDs) or digital (each LED can be set individually), but Adafruit has instructions for both of them on how to control them from an Arduino, if you check out those links.

I'm working on getting my first digital LED strip working this evening (the correct power supply just arrived in the mail), so I'll wish us both good luck.

LED strip can be controlled with PNP transistor. G connected to the microcontroller, S connected to the grounding, D connected to the LED strip minus. then microcontroller send 5V it open transistor and LED bar will light, if send 0V close. But now the question arises on the brightness control.
