Hi guys I was wanting to do this as a project
I am unsure of what LED strips this person is using, and where i can get them from.
If anyone with experience can tell me, id be most grateful.
Ive been looking on adafruit but they look slightly different

there are dozens if not hundreds of types of boards. the key is to get individually addressable and then the spacing you want and the brighness.
since the posted article does not give a supplier list, you just need to find something that would work.
of course if you google the part number in the post, you might come across something similar looking.
